Sophia wanted a site that was on brand and promoted her growing Life Coaching business. She also needed to cater for French speaking clients, and therefore we prepared a French version of the website as well.

Sophia wanted to be able to post her own blogs and make small changes, so Wordpress was the natural solution for this site.

Site walkthrough

Sophia wanted a website that looked professional looking professional and neutral/feminine. It had to provide the right image for potential clients and help reinforce the trustworthiness of her brand.

We used her logo colouring as the dominant colour for the site, paired with white to give a clean, professional look.

Colour palette

Sophia's logo already used a nice pastel teal colour, which we used to drive the colours on the website.

Pastels are less saturated than primary colours, making them feel less harsh, light and calming. This was perfect for the image we wanted to portray of Sophia.

French translation

The site will auto load the correct language depending on the physical location that the user is accessing the site from. They can also explicitly switch languages by clicking on the flags in the corner of the screen.

This functionality was implemented using 'Polylang', a Wordpress plugin. There is no auto-translate functionality, its main functionality is to offer ways to link together the English and French versions of each page. I regularly use Elementor for page editing, and also had to install 'Polylang for Elementor' to get the translation functionality working with recurring header/footer blocks.
