AKA wanted a logo and branding for the launch of their music catalogues on the established distribution platform, Harvest Media.


Maso Design put together a pdf containing three options for logo, colour scheme and tiles. We iterated a few times on a clean but colourful variation to end up with this logo. It maintains a strong connection with sound, as removing the ‘K’ leaves a pair of headphones. This play on the logo is used frequently to reinforce the AKA brand.

Colour scheme

“Terracotta“ is the predominant colour used for the logo and branding. This was paired with an offsetting teal colour which adds balance and freshness to the palette.
